Candidate Ballot Statements
CURC is holding elections for the 2007-2008 Steering Committee. The steering committee is comprised of twelve (12) members. This year, CURC members will elect six (6) CURC steering committee members to serve a two-year term. Eight (8) candidates are running for election; their ballot statements can be viewed online. The six (6) returning steering committee members are: Mark Darling, Jack DeBell, Dana Donatucci, Rob Gogan, Deb Hanson, Christine von Kolnitz.
The position is a two-year term that requires conference calls once a month and work on a variety of committees and projects. Current projects include membership drive, annual workplan, NRC conference workshop, RecycleMania, web based resources and budgeting. Other projects are always considered.
Elections will be held April 16th through April 20th at 5:00 PST. All ballots will be cast through an online election process. Only CURC members in good NRC membership standing will be able to vote. All members will be notified via email on the morning of April 16th with voting instructions. Winners will be announced the following week. The first conference call for the new steering committee will be May 2nd.
